In May of 1999 in the midst of Thailand's hot and humid season, we left
our jobs in Japan for eleven days and traveled to Thailand. As far as traveling
goes, Thailand has to be one of the most alluring countries in the world.
A fascinating culture and breathtaking beauty combine with good infrastructure
to make Thailand one of the best places in the world to travel. We had a
mere eleven days, so there is much we have yet to see, but we did explore
