Since we left Japan last July our plan had been to travel around SE Asia, spend time with our parents in California and Chicago and then head off to another country to start doing something related to the field of international development. Well, most of those things worked out. . . .

One of the organizations we were looking at working for, CRWRC, didn't offer us a postion in another country but they did offer Sarah a two year postion in Muskegon, Michigan. And while it wasn't quite what we had been expecting, after visiting the town and finding out a little bit about what she would be doing there we decided that it would be a good experience for us, one from which we could learn a lot.
